Some Losses Are Never Replaced — And Yet, People Continue to Live
There are losses that cannot be compensated. No explanation makes them lighter. No replacement fills the space they leave behind. When a child is taken away without dignity, when illness turns weakness into an accusation, when systems punish vulnerability — nothing truly replaces that loss. People often say, “Time heals everything.” Time does not heal everything. Time only teaches us new ways to live with what remains. I have learned this: some wounds do not close, but they can be carried with dignity. This is where RST works. We do not try to cover wounds. We remind people of something quieter, but stronger: “Being broken does not make you less worthy.” This truth does not create happiness. But it restores self-respect — and that is often where resilience begins
